Summer trip - Day 1

We decided to head north. None of us has really spent any time in northern Idaho, and we mixed that with fun and a few college visits. We wanted to show Ella and Cooper a few different options that are available around here.

We jumped in the car and headed to Moscow, and our first stop was the University of Idaho. We have many alumni in our family from this school. The campus was beautiful. It was Sunday so most things were closed but we gave ourselves a tour and even got a "Ok, I could maybe

see myself going to school in Idaho", from our daughter. That was a huge step.

This is the house where Aunt Ashley lived and where she met Uncle Pete for the first time.

Then we took a very short drive over to Washington State, another place where we have alumni in the family (both sides). We are sure it looked a lot different when Grandpa Link was here.

We then drove from Pullman to Kellogg, Idaho.
These pictures do not do the Palouse justice! It was gorgeous. We kept telling the kids to look out the window. The greens and yellows were amazing.

We arrived at our hotel.....this seems to be a theme for Coop at the moment!
