Ella and I went on an adventure the second week in July. My mom had been spending time in Seattle with my grandpa, who has been sick. She had been up there since mid June working with my aunts to get my grandpa situated in a rehabilitation center and to start to clean out his house that my grandparents have lived in for almost 50 years. You know what that means? You can acquire a lot of treasures over 50 years! So, Ella and I decided to hop in the car with my dad, who was going to help and be my mom's ride home, and go to Seattle.
Grandpa likes to stop (a lot) at Starbucks.
We played the license plate game the whole way. When we spotted a new state Ella added the sticker to her chart.
We got to snuggle up and share a bedroom together. This girl does not stay still when she sleeps, she flops all night long.
The best part of the trip was just hanging out with family. Ella got to spend time with her cousins, my cousins, her aunt, my aunts and we got to visit with my grandpa.

We spent two whole days just pricing stuff for a garage sale and then the next three days having a garage sale. It was sad to see my grandparent's house looking like this and having strangers go through their belongings.
My cousin Jennifer gave Ella a swim lesson in the hot tub.
These two loved playing in the hot tub and now want one of their own...me too!
Ella and I after a long day.
So thankful for the chance to snuggle my niece Charlie, named after my Grandpa.

Ella and my return trip was much faster, we flew!
Ella was excited to fly and I was excited to get back to Addie, Coop and Benji.
