We have pink on the walls, as of tonight. Tomorrow we, well not really we, Benji will add the seconds coat. It's pink!
Gene this picture is the answer to your request. Here I am 28 weeks, big and round! We will be thinking about you during your trip home. Happy Holidays! Call us when you get back in January. Our baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels, this week. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.
We went to the Doctor last Tuesday and everything looks good. I had to do the glucose/sugar test and we are still waiting for the results. At the last visit she had given me this bubbly sugar water to drink a half hour before our appointment. I drank it in front of my small reading group that I teach from 8:45-9:30 everyday. I must have made a terrible face because they quickly asked what I was drinking and what it tasted like. I told them it was very gross lemon/lime water. After being at the doctor's office for a short while I started to feel a little dizzy and had to lie down. The nurse was afraid I was going to throw the "gross water" up so she quickly took my blood and another pregnancy adventure was over. I am just hoping everything goes well so I do not have to do that again.
