




The following are a few things that I am very thankful for this week:
1. Swaddling! Well, I took the Happiest Baby On the Block class three weeks ago and it was not until this weekend that Benji and I sat down and watched the video I received at the class. Fancy this....we watched the video, tried the techniques, and it worked. We may be slow learners. Ella is now sleeping 3 to 4 hours at a time during the night. Ya for sleep!
2. Gripe Water! We finally tracked down some Gripe water (it is an organic concoction that helps with colic) and it works. When Ella takes it her stomach seems to feel better and she does not get the hiccups after eating. She also sleeps better, Ya for sleep!
3. The sun came out! This has been the first week Ella and I have been able to go for afternoon walks. It has been wonderful being able to get out of the house for some fresh air. Ella loves going for rides in her stroller, we take three steps out the front door and she is asleep. Ya for sleep!
4. Baby and Me Group! This was the first Tuesday that Ella and I could make it out of the house in time for the group. This week's class was on first aid and it was great hearing what other mothers had to share.
5. The past three day weekend! It was so nice having Benji home for an extra day. Ella loves her Daddy! Ya for Daddy!

Jess and I oohed and aahhed over adorable ella.... and your hair. Too cute! I'm glad you found some things that work. It's all about trial and error, I think. I'll call you tomorrow.

Great post! She is the most adorable little lady I've ever seen. So glad to hear you are all getting a bit more sleep these days. I think the lack of sleep was the hardest thing about the first few months.
