Back To School

Well, the three of us spent last week packing up my classroom and moving it into our attic. This is Ella playing in my classroom while Benji and I throw things in boxes. I only cried twice as I thought about leaving my students and my classroom (I was going to have the same students again this year). Every time I started to cry all I had to do was look at Ella and I knew this was going to be the right thing for her as I am going to be working a lot less! I am going to work 25 hours a week, with Fridays off this year as a Title One teacher. It has been so weird watching all of my friends, and husband, getting there classrooms ready and all I have is a small cupboard and a even smaller counter top. I had to go back to school last Thursday and Benji starts back tomorrow. Ella has her first day of child care tomorrow...oh, this is going to be so hard!

This is Ella getting her first haircut. When we were in Ellensburg my mom trimmed up a few of her wispy fly aways.

It was cold for a few days in Washington so Ella got to bundle up again.

Well, here we go starting another school year and a new adventure. Wish me luck tomorrow as I get to be the one to drop Ella off at Bright Beginnings and wish Benji luck getting anything done at work as he tries to pull himself away from the online web cam the child care center has.
