Last Saturday was Ella's First Birthday Party. The teacher in me likes themes, so it was "Ella's Garden Party." I got a little ambitious and made flowers, one for each month of her fist year, so you could see how she has bloomed.

My Mom and I spent way too long making tissue flowers and Millie (our cat) hated them. She has spent the last week hiding in our room, refusing to come out.

Cute Birthday Girl!

Her dress, I found it on
Craiglist, even had a 1 in the middle of the balloon ribbons. For some reason in all of the pictures we have you can not see the 1.

Ella was spoiled with fantastic gifts.

Ella got her very own bag, if only she could do all her own packing as well. She crawled inside and my mom thinks this is how we should take her to Hawaii!

This was the first time she had had anything sugary...I think she liked it.

The glazed over eyes shows how she loved the sugar!

Thank you everyone for making it a
fabulous first Birthday!

Michelle, you are amazing! I am so impressed by the flowers and decorations for Ella's party. She is so cute. She is such a lovely mix of your features and Benji's. :)
I love this! She's such a doll! I am right there behind you! Olivia is already almost 3 months old...I can't believe it!
You didn't mention all your themed snacks and crafts for the kids! Great party. . . I've been talking it up! Ashley (not Pete)
You are such a beautiful family! Thanks for posting the pictures, I just love seeing how she's grown :)
