One week ago today little miss Ella had tubes put in her ears. We got up bright and early and arrived at the ENT's office at 6:45. They quickly got us ready for the procedure. We were in Pre-Op at 7 am, the nurses talked to us until 7:20. The Dr. stopped by, spoke to us for about 10 seconds, and then the nurses took Ella at 7:25, the Anesthesiologist came back at 7:27 and told us she went right to sleep. We heard a door open about 4 minutes later and it was the Dr. who told us that everything had gone well. Then about 3 minutes after that Ella came out asleep in the nurses arms and I held her until she woke up. We were back in the car driving home at 7:57!!!!
We got home and Ella was perfect all day and acted like nothing happened.

i remember that room well - so much harder on mama than the baby... glad it went well - i can't believe i forgot to ask! what a jerk!
Glad to hear things went well! Hopefully no more ear infections from here on out!
