The Christmas Run Down

It was so much fun to see Christmas this year through Ella's eyes. Oh the excitement, joy and anticipation! It all went so fast and felt crazy that I realized that not many pictures were taken, but here are the keepers.

Ella and her cousins playing in her room on Christmas Eve.  She just loves having them at her house and always cries when it is time for them to leave.
All of the cousins in their Christmas Pj's...well Ella was not ready to put the Christmas dress away.
Ella and Lily's favorite pose.

Always one with their finger in their nose.
ALWAYS!
I think we took 20 pictures of all of them in their pj's and not one was perfect. I think this one is the best!
Ella on Christmas morning so excited about what Santa brought Cooper.  She loves the school bus.
Santa left Ella a doll house...it has been hours of fun for both Ella and Cooper.  Ella very carefully sets up the whole house just the way she wants it and Cooper is the big monster that comes through town to destroy it.

Ella giving her stocking some love.

Cooper wondering if he is ever going to get to play with his school bus.
It took us 4 hours to open gifts and have Christmas breakfast because Ella wanted to stop and play with everything she got.  It was fun to watch how excited she was.
Cooper enjoying his breakfast and Ella in a Christmas coma.
The day after Christmas we packed up the car and drove to my parents to celebrate the holiday.
My Aunts came over to visit and spoiled Ella and Cooper with presents.  Ella has not stopped vacuuming since she opened this.  The other day I knocked over a plant and some dirt got on the floor.  Ella went running to get her vacuum and came back saying, "Mom I got it."
Cooper loving the vacuum parts. I must have been in a Christmas fog by the time we got to my parents because these are the only real pictures I have of the 4 day we were there.
So Ella will NOT use any kind of public restroom, which can cause an issue for a long car trip. A few times during our trip there and back we had to pull off and wait for her to use her potty in the back of our car. This made for a LONG car ride.
Ella sporting her new pink curlers!
Now that I have had time to breathe and put everything away, I can say we had a great Christmas and loved every minute of the time we spent with family.
