Six years ago Benji and I took a trip to Eden Utah to celebrate 4th of July with my aunt, uncle, cousins and parents. We had a lot of fun and have wanted to go back ever since. This year we decided to motivate and take the kids to Eden for an All American 4th.
Ella ready for the parade to start. She got candy, wet from water guns and very excited with each horse passing.

Poor Coop's nose! He fell the night before on the driveway and scraped his nose and got a big goose egg on his forhead.
After the parade we joined in on the festivities in the park. Ella had her eye on taking this barrel ride the whole time. At about 1:00 it got HOT and we were ready for naps...all of us!
In the evening we headed down the hill to watch the beautiful fireworks. After last year Ella was not so sure of the fireworks as they are loud and scare her. Benji promised her that he would put Kleenex in her ears so it would not be loud. She was quite apprehensive. We sat down and distracted her with glow stick necklaces and bracelets and when the first boom happened everyone jumped as it was unexpected. She handled them like a trooper as did Cooper. He just sat in his dads lap and was awe struck. Ella loved them and is still talking about them. It was a great day!
