Getting Ready for the Holidays

My favorite time of the year is the month leading up to Christmas.  I love the magic, wonder and anticipation of it all and there is nothing better then seeing it through Ella and Cooper's eyes.
This year Oodle our Elf joined us for the holidays.  Ella and Cooper loved Oodle! Each morning the first thing they wanted to do was go find Oodle to see where he landed after his trip back from the North Pole. The picture above is from the first night he visited us, bringing pajamas to start off the season. Oodle left us on Christmas Eve and the kids are still asking when he will be coming back and Cooper ever so ofter looks around the house and says, "OOOOOdle!"
Ella loves to bake! This is a picture from one WHOLE Sunday making and baking dough ornaments, 100 to be exact, for all my Kindergardeners. Ella was my faithful helper the entire day.
Christmas can't come without a trip to see Santa. No tears this year!  Ella was so excited to see the man she was jumping and skipping on her way into Edwards Nursery. Pete, Ashley, Maryn and Kai meet us there, poor Kai , he was the one putting on the breaks this year.
Ella asked Santa for a pink scooter and we are not quite sure what Cooper asked for, but I am sure it was something along the lines of Thomas the train.

This is Ella asking Santa if she could see the twinkle in his eye.  As we were leaving she said, "Oh no, I forgot to ask Santa if his belly was a bowl full of jelly."
