So, one windy March day we decided to take our kids plus a few neighborhood kids across the street to fly kites.  We where there point two seconds and three of the four kites were stuck in trees.  Oh the drama! Mind you, one huge field with a few trees, few and far between and they run right for the trees.  Tears! I think we got two of them down and one is still there for us to wave at every time we drive in or out of the neighborhood.  It has been two months and I think Ella is just starting to get over the loss of her kite. ;)
