Oh Cooper....

Cooper moves fast and sometimes it is too fast.  He had a week the end of April/ the first of May that illustrates this point.  We are so thankful for the nurses in our lives. They are Ashley, Jill (neighbor friend) and Abby(next-door neighbor), we use them as a resource often.  Poor Jill got two night time visits in this week alone.  Both incidences I would have taken him to the ER (both happened after minor emergency was closed) but Jill so gently talked us out if it both times.

The first incidence happened while we were taking a class at their childcare.  The kids were outside playing and Coop came in to go to the bathroom.  He left the bathroom in such a hurry he forgot to turn the corner and ran right into the side edge of the door.  Jill said that if he went to the ER he could be given 1 or 2 stitches, but her advice was to just butterfly or glue it...so we did.
Next, days later, Coop got his foot stuck underneath the neighbors door.  Again, later at night so we trekked down the street to Jill's house for her to take a look.  This time she guessed 3 or 4 stitches, but again thought we could just butterfly it...so we did.  This one took a little longer to heal because it was right on the knuckle of the big toe.  He even had to miss a soccer game.
SLOW DOWN COOP!
