Loving our backyard in June

I got out of school a few days before the kids so I had time for a project or two. 

We had bought this little playhouse years ago and it was starting to look like a haunted playhouse.  My parents and I decided to fix it up because Addie loved playing in it.  We moved it out from under the trees, cleaned it up, fixed a few things, made a floor/deck and painted it. We painted it the same color of our house and added some bright blue for fun. 

 After it was almost done we decided it needed a little cobble pathway to the door. We have a lot of these bricks to use up so the kids also got a fairy garden and a pumpkin patch. We also just found a cute little kitchen on Craig's List for the inside.  Now all three kids love to play in it again.

 This picture just made me laugh.  Coop relaxing around our new fire pit, celebrating the last week of school. 

We also added a hammock to the back yard, this has been my favorite addition. 

This year we had a crazy amount of cherries and they were super delicious.
