I think someone found the berries.
This girl loves taking selfies.
I love finding pictures of Ella in the same outfit that Addie now gets to wear. It is so fun to see the similarities and differences.
This is Addie and her bah bah. She loves wearing her backpack around the house.
Just a normal day trying to get herself in trouble.
So months ago I made the decision that Addie could not have little rubber bands in her hair because she takes them out and puts them on her wrist. She calls them her pretties. We packed all of them up and put them out of reach. Well, she found one. We are not sure where or how, but she found one.
She had a very restless night of sleep and we kept thinking it was her stomach. We had been working in the yard that evening and she had helped herself to a lot of berries. We got up and rocked her multiple times during the night, but never turned the light on (lesson learned). We did not see her hand until the morning...it was twice her normal size. Benji stayed home with her until the doctors office opened and after talking to the nurse he decided to stay home with her for the rest of the day to keep a close watch on her little hand. The nurse had Benji do a few test with her over the phone and everything looked alright. Poor thing! We felt so bad. Her hand was swollen for a good 48 hours and it has now been two months since it happened and the mark around her wrist has just gone away. She will still point at it and say Owwee!
