Halloween

The kids getting ready for Trunk or Treating at their school the Friday night before Halloween.  Apparently, I did not take any pictures of the actual event but they do such a nice job.
Earlier that day they had crazy hair day at school and Ella went with spider hair.  I was lucky enough to have the day off (comp. day for conferences) so I spent the day helping in Ella's and Cooper's classrooms.  I brought a skeleton art project for Ella's class in the morning and did Halloween bingo with Coop's class in the afternoon. It was fun!
Saturday we visited Papa Tony's house to see all the decorations.  The kids love seeing ALL of the lights!

Sunday night we spent carving pumpkins.

Finally, it was Monday and time to trick or treat. This year Ella was a cat, Cooper was a pirate and Addie was a cheerleader.

They had so much fun going out with all the neighbors and they got way too much candy.  This year the adults had a hard time keeping up with all of the kids.  There was a lot of repeating, over and over, SLOW DOWN! Addie was slow to warm up, but once she got the hang of it she was hooked.

She did not want to go in for the night.  She was so sad it was over.
Once the reality set in that she was not going back out, she was off to sneak her candy upstairs. This girl is strong willed!
