Storm after Storm after Storm!

Well, It was fun and beautiful and now it is just a mess!  The kids ended up with 5 snow days and I am currently at home an my sixth snow day (seven for the year).  After the first storm it got cold, too cold to play outside.

Then it warmed up and we got more snow, wet heavy snow with some frozen rain.  After that it just rained and rained and rained.

School continued to be cancelled and even most churches were cancelled on Sunday.

Benji went to Fred Meyer on Saturday to stock up (they were calling for power outages or flooding (which could mean city water would be turned off?) and so did EVERYONE else. He said it was one of the most insane things he had ever experienced.

We have spent a lot of time inside playing games.
I still have not heard how many days I will have to make up teaching or when this will happen. Ella and Cooper will now be going to school on MLK day (AKA Ella's birthday) and President's day. This is what happened when we broke the news to Ella about going to school on her birthday:
We where kind of surprised by her reaction.  I truly thought she would be alright with going.  She may (ssshhh) be staying home with her mom and day that day.

We got more snow Monday night which slowed clean up down some more and we all ended up staying home again.  This is what it looks like now (Tuesday), one big soppy mess and lots of ICE!
