Mom and Dad were much more excited about their last day of school than they were. My heart broke as I realized how much anxiety and sadness they had for the end of the school year. They were sad to leave thier friends and teachers and already a little nervous for the next school year. They had so many summer adventures to look forward to and yet there were tears shed that morning. This made my heart break for them and for my own students on the last few days of school.
We are so lucky that our kids go to such a great school and have fabulous educators in their lives that install a love for learning.
