December

I love the holiday season, but boy is it crazy busy! I try to take it all in, enjoy it, and be purposeful in what we do.  I'm not going to lie, as the kids get older and life gets busy, this is hard! Looking back at these pictures helps realize the holiday craze is worth it....we can sleep in January!
Oodle (our elf) brought the family PJ's.  When I look back at these pictures, I wonder where was Cooper! Cooper does not enjoy taking pictures at this moment in time so I have to catch him and sometimes I am not quick enough.

These pictures made me laugh.  I have no idea what is going on but it is a fair representation for what after school looks like for us.

The kids wrote their yearly letter to Santa.  All three had questions for Santa. Ella and Cooper asked for a scooter and Addie asked for some Little Critters.

 I love Meridian's Santa mailbox!

I love sleeping children! This is proof December is exhausting!
 Never boring!
 Always weird!

Santa wrote back answering a few of their questions and let them know where they were on the nice list.  It is always fun to get these very cute letters in the mail!

Ella had two performances of The Nutcracker.  Our dear friends Dawn and Abby came to see her dance.  It is always fun to see how much she enjoys performance days.  Another Nutcracker in the books!

In the middle of the crazy Nutcracker performance day, this one decided to get strep throat. We knew she was not feeling well because she was over the top moody.  But when she looked at us and yelled, "Take me to the doctor! I don't feel well", we decided to make time for a quick care trip.  At this moment I knew I was not going to have to worry about Addie advocating for herself.  She has that covered!
Benji and I tried to be crafty....it was a bumpy project but the Pearsons now have something from "home."
Ella the morning of Christmas cheer day at school.  Cooper was cute too, but sadly no picture.
Addie during Santa Breakfast at preschool. She is warming up to the big guy!
A little trip to the Village to see the holiday light and fountain show.
Ella had a dress rehearsal for her choir performance.
Between rehearsal and performance we celebrated Grandpa's birthday.
The BIG night finally came! It was beautiful and fun to see this girl so proud of what they did.
Ella is somewhere to the left of the stage for the last song of the night.

Our tradition of making Krumkakes. All three kids were there to help , but Ella was the only one to stick with it to the end.  Addie is somewhere in the front bedroom playing with toys and Cooper is watching TV with Grandpa.  All perfect ways of helping! This is one of my most favorite traditions because I can remember making these on the stove as a kid.  My fingerprints don't read well and I KNOW this is way.  I burnt off my fingerprints rolling krumkakes as a kid!

 Starwars with cousins!
They were all excited to see this movie right away!
