Well, here I go! Checking in! I think I just like the reflective part of having to go back 6 months. I always mean to keep up and then life always seems to have other planes. It may be January, but it is fun to take a look back at August.
This happened in August! Stainless steel cleaner was dripped all over the kitchen floor (not by any of us) and it would not come up. After many phone calls and driving around town, I found out that I needed to lightly sand each board and reseal them...one section at a time. This took days, was a little stressful, but it worked for the most part. Honestly, it was horrible.I got another year older and was spoiled.
I am always finding pictures on my phone.
This was Benji's lunch after his first day of work. Milkshakes fix everything.
We take this picture every year and at times it is almost painful to see how fast these three are growing up, but so thankful for these memories!
We had some time to just sit and enjoy each other. It may have just been 20 minutes, but I loved every minute of it! Back to school is always so crazy busy.
Ella was so helpful during the back-to-school craziness we went shopping and tried some Boba.
She was a fan, I was not.
After working there since the mid 80's the new owners of what used to be called "The Plantation Golf and Swim club" and now "The River Club", decided to honor Tony. The new owners recognized that he has put everything into that place year-round for almost 40 years. So they decided to dedicate the swim and tennis area in his honor. It was an amazing day with so many there to celebrate Papa Tony.
These three finally started school!
I went back to work two weeks before they started...which felt like forever!
Seventh, fifth, and first grade!
