November

November started with pretty warm weather. We made it to a park to walk, play frisbee, and even hit the swings. It was a great start to a day.

However.....this is how it ended.

We bought this car back in 2007 and Benji said "we just bought our kids car". There was no way this could be true but it almost made it to Ella. We were going to buy a car next summer and give this to Ella but it didn't make it. Everyone involved was okay, just a totaled car. Benji was super bummed as he loved this car. We feel it was supposed to happen as the airbags did not deploy and in our heads that means the car was not safe for Ella. So car shopping we will go.

Back to the happy. These two are great.

These four went on a bike ride to get ice cream, IN NOVEMBER!

Ella takes after her dad and is a kid at heart. He may have had something to do with BOTH of these pics.

This one has been asking to make these breadsticks that she found in a recipe book.
She did it all with just a little help. They were good!

If you know Boise, you most likely know about Music Week. This has been something that all of the Simmonds kids have taken a part in. As well as Grandma Go-Go decorating "The Pavilion" each year for "School Night". Well this means that Benji now runs "School Night" and it has been canceled for one reason or another since COVID. This year Benji decided to redesign Music Week as it always happens in May and that just doesn't work for schools anymore. So he moved it to the Fall and to the Morrison Center. He did two nights, one instrumental and one vocal. It was a success and all of the hard work by everyone paid off.

We are tired.

It is always shorts and sandals weather for this Idaho boy.

This one has fallen in love with Taylor and her influence on the NFL.

Thanksgiving break started and we decided to just get ready for Christmas and then relax for the week.
So that is what we did.

We cooked and baked and had a great Thanksgiving and break.
