October - first half

Do we live in an Outdoor Living Magazine? Sometimes it seems like it with Michelle's way of making things look so amazing. This has become another room of our house. The kids love hanging out back here whenever they can.

When we went to San Antonio last year Benji's Uncle Greg showed us the start of 7 books that he was making for all of our kids (Marshall and Ashley's family included). This was going to be the huge history of the Link family. It looked like a true labor of love. Well the books arrived in the middle of October, with each kid getting a package and they jumped right in. They had so many questions and it was fun to see them learn some history of their Grandma Go-Go's side of the family. What a gift!

If you don't know, Benji loves space. He has always said he would love to be shot out into space to find whatever he could. So when there was an eclipse he was all about it. Trouble was, we had clouds. But not entirely and he was dedicated to get pics using his phone and glasses. He was able to get some really cool pics even with the clouds.

Our flowers on our patio have brought some fun creatures to watch. Between the bees and the humming birds we have been enjoying every bit of this addition.

The girls all decided to do a project for Halloween. Benji kept saying it was something that his mom would have done. They turned out really well.
