Skiing

 I know that we post about this each year but we really do love our family ski time. 

Well, maybe only mom and dad.

This beautiful day of spring skiing ended with Coop falling on the last run. The snow had started to melt and it caught him and he kept moving and his skis didn't. The bindings didn't release and he felt his knee do "something weird". 

So the next day we went to the Dr. The X-rays didn't show a break but they wanted us to see a knee Dr. 

Crutches for now!

Addie has ALWAYS wanted crutches. She has even asked for them for Christmas and Bday's. So this was her face when she knew he was coming home with crutches!

Knee brace too!

Everyone had to try them.

We saw the Dr. and he said the following "I will bet my career on it that he tore his ACL". Off to the MRI!

The MRI came back negative for a tear and showed 2 deep bone bruises. PHEW!!!!!! He was done with crutches, couldn't do TKD for two months, but so much better than surgery and rehab!
