A few people have been asking how we are coming along on the baby room. Well, all I have to show is a pile of paint colors on the floor. I bet you can guess what color I am thinking of going with, pink anyone? I have sucsessfully picked up every shade of pink sample everywere I have been, but I do not know how I want to put the paint on the walls. Here are a few of our ideas:
- Beadboard on the bottom half of the walls and a pink color on the upper half.
- Wall paper on the bottom half of the wall and a pink color on the upper half with molding in between. I found this modern wallpaper that has different shades of pink polka dots.
- Light pink and a darker pink stripe on the wall.
- Light pink room with something painted on the wall.
The crib we ordered came a few weeks ago and we have been searching for a dresser, but so far we have not found the perfect one at the right price. I think we have looked just about everywhere, if you have any great ideas for us please let us know.
Next weekend we will be in McCall with Benji's students so maybe sometime in November we will have some new news about the baby's room. Stay tuned....

I hear you on the dresser thing! They are SO expensive. We found cribs we liked, but then when we checked out the matching dresser it was more expensive than the crib. Crazy. Our solution: Andrew's parents offered to buy them both for us. They are so generous. Good luck! Can't wait to see how you choose to decorate the nursery!!
At least your house won't glow blue like ours... i think a nice pink glow would be soothing...
what is a bead board? of the options that I actually know about, I think the wallpaper/paint/molding would look classy and extremely sweet!
so when are you going to let us in on name options?! :)
