Last night Ella and I went to the rodeo with my parents. She was one excited girl to use her free ticket she earned for doing her Summer reading at the library. When asked what her favorite part of the night was she said, "I loved watching the girls ride". Her favorite part was at the very beginning when they turn the lights off and the drill team does their stuff in the dark with Christmas lights wrapped around them. I have to say this is my favorite part too. She was also a fan of the barrel racing.
Also on the top of her favorite list was the big bag of cotton candy and kettle corn she ate with NO problem.

In the middle of the evening Ella leans over to me and says, "When girls ride horses they stay on."
On our way home, while dropping grandma and grandpa off, she waves out the window and says, " Thanks for all the sugar!"
Grandma gave her special rodeo bows to wear and she requested cowgirl hair, braids.
