It was a VERY long trip home for all of us. We left Florida around 3p.m. and arrived in Boise around 1a.m due to delays. I never thought I would say this, but I am so thankful for electronic devices that play movies. Our kiddos love movies so much that they tricked people into thinking they were angels, we were proud parents with the compliments we received. I am also thankful for a husband who volunteered to sit between these two every flight. I got to sit across the isle so I could easily get up and walk or stretch my legs so they did not blow up like a puffer fish, which they did anyways.
This picture was taken as we sat on the ground in Nashville waiting, waiting, and waiting for more passengers to board.....with NO AC. This did not make Benji a happy camper.
Getting ready for this trip I talked to my friend Sarah a few times to get tips on doing Disney with young kids. She sweetly told me, yes you will have a few melt downs but the smiles and excitement on their faces will be all you really remember from the trip. She was right! We had a few melt downs and a medical drama, but looking back on the trip, what I really remember is the smiles, laughter and family time spent. I can't wait to do it again (not in July and not pregnant)!
