We saved the best for last. One last visit to the Magic Kingdom.
We started the morning by finding a quick care to take Cooper's stitches out. The E.R. nicely invited us back to have them removed for another $100 copay. We had family and friends nurses who offered to take them out when we got home but we got a little nervous if we waited that may leave them in too long, and cause it to dry out and scar. We wanted to do everything possible so we were not to blame for a scar later on. I can hear it now, "I have this scar between my eyes because my parents didn't want to pay for another copay to take the stitches out." So with a little calling around we found a quick care that would take them out for $20.
Cooper was brave and they were out in about 10 minutes.
Later that afternoon we returned for one more park outing. It was a very hot afternoon and we were all melting from the heat. I kept saying we will go, have fun, and leave as soon as one of us was no longer having fun. No pressure, just one last trip to the happiest place on earth.
Just when I was about to be the one not having fun anymore, my feet were FAT,
it clouded up and started to rain.
it clouded up and started to rain.
To get out of the rain we stopped to visit Ariel. Cooper loved her sequins! He would NOT stop touching them...a little embarrasing. The pictures say it all!
When we left it was pouring! We throw ponchos on the kids and to my surprise they loved them. They thought they were owls and ghosts!? It was just the pick-me-up everyone needed. People were going home, lines were short and most importantly, it was no longer HOT! Let the real fun begin!
On the way to the roller coaster, this happened. He was out! So I stayed with Coop while Ella and Benji took a few trips on the Barnstormer. I was nervous Ella was not going to like it...I was wrong! She came running up to me and quickly stated, "I want to do that again, it was fun!"
The best part of the night, came at the end. Ella loves Frozen and of course Elsa and Ana. We had been watching the wait time to meet Ana and Elsa since we bought our tickets to go on the trip. It did not matter what day or time the wait was over 3- hours long with no fast passes. I said from the beginning, we were NOT doing that! We did not even tell Ella about the option of meeting them, that was top secret. At about 9:30 that night Benji was checking what fast passes were available and guess what, there it was, Ana and Elsa fast pass for 10:30. Cooper was asleep, Ella was full of energy, so why not. It truly was like winning the lottery. We did not tell her about it, we just walked right in and there they were. Ella was speechless, no really for the first time all trip, she was speechless. She did not even know what to say to them. I think she was star struck.
We finished the night with one last round on the carousel.
Watched the beautiful fireworks one last time.
And said good bye to the park around 11:45.
It was truly magical and EVERYONE was amazing and had the best time!
