I say this every snow day, but a snow day is a gift! It is a day that you get to throw all other plans, responsibilities, and obligations away and play as a family. It is an extra, stolen moment to cherish and fill with memories. Cheesy I know, but I LOVE snow days.
I love them just as much now as I did as a kid.
This snow day came early, mid November. It caught us off guard, we did not have snow clothes for Ella and Cooper yet. I am just waiting for a year where something (anything) will still fit them from the year before. Thank goodness for Kai's old clothes and shoes and Fred Meyer's down the street. Thank goodness for the fact Cooper does not care if he is wearing pink snow boots.
Cooper thinks snow was put on this Earth for him to eat. He will NOT stop eating snow. Fresh, new, clean, old or icy, he will not stop. There is something wrong with the child! A neighbor came over to our house tonight and he was trying to eat the snow off the bottom of his shoe. YUCK! He definitely does not take after me! YUCK! Make him stop!
