When I grow up.....

This spring Ella had an assignment to pick a career she is interested in.  

The assignment went like this:

1. Over the weekend have your parent help you pick a career.

2. At school on Monday you will write an informational paper on that career.

3. Tuesday, come to school dressed as your career choice and present your informational paper to the class.   

So, over the weekend we had may discussions about different careers and she finally picked one, a singer. Great! Monday, Benji will bring a microphone home from work and she can wear a nice dress. 

Monday after school when I asked how writing her paper went she answered, "Good, I changed my mind and I am going to be a teacher now." 

Two thoughts went quickly through my head at the same time, goodness another costume change at the last minute and my heart is so proud...another teacher!
