We raised butterflies! Well, little caterpillars (larva) came in the mail and watched them go through their lifecycle with a little help from us. My kind of pet!
Once they were strong and ready to fly, we let them go.
I do this every year with my students and we have done this once before at home, but the kids did not remember it. It was fun to do it again and I am sure it will not be our last time.
