The End of the School Year

Both Ella and Cooper had open houses in their classrooms to show off their portfolios. It was so much fun to have them walk us through their hard work! Ella got her dad to go to her's in the morning and Cooper got his mom to go in the afternoon (looks like Mom did not take pictures, oops)
This girl got to hangout with her mom and dad all by herself one night while her sister and brother were spending the night at their cousins.  We spent some time downtown and went out to dinner.
This is how I found Cooper one morning....who sleeps like this?
These three went out for ice-cream to celebrate the last day of school
while I said goodbye to my sweet students.
One of my most favorite bitter sweet moments of the year! Waving the busses goodbye during our bus parade. Next school year I have a new adventure awaiting me, I will be co teaching with second and third grade teachers during their writing block.  We will be planning together and teaching together.  All this meant I had to pack up my classroom and put it in storage.
After 8 years in this classroom, I moved out! A little scary and exciting all at the same time.

We all made it to Goodies together, to celebrate another great school year!
Nothing says Summer like ice-cream!

And then we stumble upon this........... more to come later.
