Day Five

Waiting to port in Sitka Alaska.
Off the boat and waiting for a bus to take us into town.

 These pictures crack me up!

Our first stop was Fortress of the Bears.  This is a bear rescue center where you stood above and looked right into their habitat.  They were so much fun to watch!

This bear looked right up at Cooper and Benji when Benji knocked on the glass. He told Cooper to be careful as he may eat him.

Next we went to a raptor center where we saw amazing birds up close.
Sitka was beautiful! Its scenery was vast and forever green.  Sitka is the largest U.S. city by land area.  It's bay and rivers had a ton of fish, we enjoyed just watching them jump.
Getting a good picture with all the kids was at times impossible.  If I remember right, Addie is not in these pictures because she was over the walk/hike we were on through Sitka's National Historic Park. By this time in the trip, she was forever exhausted.

Last pictures before we headed back to the boat.

These kids loved the night life on the boat! They loved the music, dancing and entertainment!
The girls danced during music trivia and Cooper took a nap.

Every night they loved dancing in the little night club (before it opened for the night, but all they needed was the loud music playing)

Before we could even get her teeth brushed.

Tired kids! Tired parents!
