Day Four

Day four was spent on the boat in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve.
We got up early so we could take in every minute of the beauty we were seeing.

We spent the whole morning watching for whales and bears.  We saw plenty of whales, but no bears along the coastline.  We also passed the time playing games and drinking hot chocolate.

Poor Addie snuck in a quick cat nap before we reached the John Hopkin's Glacier.
We also spent some time on the deck taking it all in.  The weather was cold and wet.

We made it to Margerie Glacier and it was beautiful!

We heard and saw it calving a few times...it makes an impression!

After a day of taking in all of Alaska's beauty, we were back to the dining room for another big meal.

I think Addie could have gotten used to having one of these big sundaes for desert every night!

The kids watching a movie before the evening's entertainment.
This was our room. The bed Coop is sitting was his and campe out of the ceiling, and it was directly above our heads (the bed Ella is sitting on). The empty bed on the far side Ella and Addie shared. It was always fun seeing them as we woke up. Sometimes they were right next to each other, other times someone was flipped and feet were next to heads etc.
