The End to One Crazy Year!

The last week and a half the kids were in school, and I was home.  This NEVER happens!!!! We rode bikes to school together and I got to watch a few school events from the back fence (their school was not open to parents/visitors).

I am glad I took this picture because I have already forgotten the moment, but I am guessing they were reading together.  I love the little moments when they are getting along and everything is right in the word!

Ella got her second vaccine and she was giddy.  I had no idea how excited she would be to be fully vaccinated... in two weeks.

Addie, Ella, and Cooper made cards for their teachers along with a little gift.  We are so thankful for the great educators in their lives!

The last day of the 2020-2021 school year finally came.

And in true 2020-2021 fashion, it rained all day.  No one, I mean NO ONE wants indoor recess on the last day of school!

Ella received an award and we got to watch the assembly from home.  We knew ahead of time, but it was a surprise to her.

We are so proud of Ella for getting a growth mindset award.  Having a growth mindset is always a work in progress for everyone and this girl is determined!

We now have a first grader, fifth grader, and a seventh-grader!

In ALL the "stuff" that comes home in the last week of school, I found this treasure of Cooper's.
