June

Addie got dressed up for Abby's (our old neighbor) graduation party. This was her idea of casual.
Addie and Cooper had their school carnival.
Addie had to make it to the carnival in time to throw a pie at her teacher, she was NOT going to miss that opportunity! I do not have any pictures of Cooper because he does not stick around long enough to talk him into taking one.
Ella looks thrilled to have her last choir concert of the year.

Addie had her author's tea to share a page in her Someday Book with all the other families.  This book is one of my favorite things all three kids have made (written).  My set is complete now!!!! Addie worked so hard on this book of 11 different stories and it is beautiful!

Pictures do not do any justice, but this is Ella's bump. It has caused a lot of pain and anxiety.

Out came the sun and dried up all the rain... and work has started again.

I chaperoned Addie's class field trip to the zoo. I love getting out of school a week before the kids!

These three were cute and loved to have their picture taken!

We finally made it to the last day of school!
Ella's last day was the day before but somehow we did not get a picture.
Ella rode bikes with Addie and Cooper to school, just for fun.

Cooper had his last day of elementary school family lunch and clap out.

The whole school and parents line up and the 5th graders run through while everyone claps.
It was a tear jerker for sure!
Cooper got out early and headed home so Addie and I got to ride home together.

We found out that builders sometimes take shortcuts. This wouldn't have been an issue until the house was about 15 years old. They put the post right to the ground and it was already rotting. No big deal of course as it only is holding up our patio cover (sarcasm font needed). They came up with a plan and it is all fixed now. No need to worry anymore!
Lots of work going on!
Ella getting her Covid test before surgery.

Finally made it to the pool and this happened.

The big day had come and Ella is ready to get this surgery over with.

The nerves (for all of us) started to set in, but everyone was so great and caring!
They gave her this bear right as she walked in to the pre surgery area.
All prepped and ready to go.
Picture of her surgery.
Recovery.  She was so funny and cute as she came out of surgery.
I could have sat and talked to her for days!
Home and ready to heal! Weight bearing right away and 10 days of no strenuous activities.

Benji planned a trip for us to go to the Gorge to see Brandi Carlie and we had the best time!

While we were gone, Cooper tested and earned his green belt.
Thank you Uncle Marshall and Aunt Tabatha for helping make this happen!
Still kind of progressing.....
Another year older and wiser!

More rain again to slow us down.
Benji spent a lot of time pumping the water out so work could go on.

Gas lines dug.

We celebrated Benji's birthday!

Benji brought robots home for everyone to build.

Cooper got braces!

The end of June is always sad. It sure starts crazy with school getting out and bdays etc, but it also means we are that much closer to the start of school.
