Yellowstone Adventure - Day 1

We took the kids to Yellowstone for a week in June and had such an amazing time. So much close time in the car and hotel rooms really brings you together.

We made the first stop at Shoshone Falls in Twin Falls as none of us had ever been there. They call this the Niagara Falls of the West.

Of course these two had to roll down the hill by the falls.

They wanted to wake Benji up. Cuddles for everyone.

We stopped in Rexburg the first day to break up the drive and visit "Bear World" as this was a place Michelle had wanted to stop years ago and her dad didn't do it. That is at least her side of the story.

Bear World is interesting. First you drive around a sanctuary area and bears are everywhere. Here is just one as we will have many pics of bears on this trip.

Then you go into the other part where you get out and this is a zoo/amusement park mix.

The kids thought the best part of this day was when they were on the above roller coaster Benji felt something hit his shirt.......yup, a bird pooped on him.

What we found out is Bear World also includes DINOLAND now!

After this we drove on to Yellowstone. This was a great first day
