Yellowstone Stone Adventure - Days 2-5

We saw so many things. These are just a collage of that. I could tell so many stories about the fun we had but the smiles are enough. The kids loved this and really did get along most of the time. We walked and walked. They were troopers as we did between 10-15 miles each day of just walking around and looking at things. It really was an amazingly fun trip.

We saw many buffalo and bear from our cars....sometimes it seemed too close.

There were falls everywhere. We pulled over all the time and just walked to see what was there. Sometimes we were alone and other times there were so many people. We played the license plate game and got all but Delaware. We are still looking for that one.

The Roosevelt Lodge.

We stopped here on a whim and loved it. We even looked up on how to stay here as they have cabins.
This is in the park and was so cool.

These four always have so much fun. He is truly a kid at heart.

Old Faithful and  Lodge

The Morning Glory Pool.
This was a hike and Benji pushed us to do a huge loop this day. If you see pics of them sitting it was just a quick break before moving to the next thing. We walked and walked and walked this day.

So much walking

This was the closest we got to a buffalo. We aren't that close but close enough to zoom in off the path. We definitely were not one of those people you see on the internet.

This was the end of the day that they walked 15.3 miles.
They didn't know they could do that much, but they were done.

Horseback riding through the forest one day. It was absolutely gorgeous this day. The sun was out and the trail riders told us it was the first real good day of the summer. Everyone had fun except for one.....want to guess? Her horse was just a bit too rowdy for her.

This was the last adventure of the trip. The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

We found a burger place in town on our last day and these two still say they are the best burgers they have every eaten.
Benji even said if we had gone on our first night we would have gone back every night and tried a different burger.

We are glad we are able to have this time with them as we know it is getting closer to all of us not being together. Time please slow down. What a fun trip to start the summer!
